Rules

GATE ENTRANCE: Anyone entering the grounds must sign the release of liability waiver.  Once you pass that point you have entered the “restricted area” that is described in the release. All individuals will be required to follow all Briarcliff Motocross rules.

LIABILITY: Briarcliff Motocross, LLC is not liable for your safety at the facility.  Briarcliff Mx carries no insurance that covers any rider, spectator, or anyone else that isn’t named on the event policy. Everyone must be aware of what is occurring around them.  Please remain alert at all times.  All riders and spectators are liable for their own safety, and the safety of the minors under their supervision.  If anything appears unsafe to anyone, Briarcliff Mx recommends that you leave the facility immediately. This is not automatic grounds for a refund.  If you stay at the facility and willingly compete in riding, racing, and spectating, you are acknowledging that you feel that everything is safe and you are willing to accept liability for the safety of yourself and those around you due to your actions.  Please report anything that you feel is unsafe to track officials, and leave the facility.  Thank You.

RIDER/PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION: All riders must properly sign up before riding anywhere on the property. All riders must personally be present for rider registration. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian to registration.  On open ride weekends, all sign up is performed at the gate entrance.  On race weekends, all riders need to report to the sign up trailer before riding.

REFUNDS: Unless the race is cancelled, there are no refunds once practice has begun. Be sure you and your bike are ready.  No refunds will be handled at the gate.  If you enter the track on a race weekend, and leave prior to Sunday, no refunds will be given.  If you show up on Thursday-Saturday, your ticket-wristband is for the weekend, no exceptions.

PIT RIDING: Pit riding is limited to 1st gear to and from the track. There is absolutely no pit riding allowed on race bikes or atvs. No spectator riding, period.

PIT VEHICLES: Pit vehicles will be allowed for race event weekends, if they can be used responsibly.  All drivers must be 18 years or older.  Pit vehicles may include UTVs, Utility Quads, Golf Carts, Pit Bikes/Scooters, stock mini quads etc. Race machines are not an accepted pit vehicle.  For the Area Qualifier and the AMA ATV National all drivers and vehicles must get registered at sign up.

PETS: All pets must be on a leash and kept under control by their owner.

TRACK RADIO STATION: Please keep your radio tuned to FM 90.1 (or in that range) for up-to-date announcements and information throughout the weekend.

TICKETS: Your wristband is your weekend pass and must be worn at all times. If you leave the facility/grounds, you must have it on in order to re-enter. This is your gate ticket. Do not take it off. Please see Gate Fees table for each event page.

GARBAGE: Please BAG and TIE your garbage in plastic and place it in the 55 gallon trash drums or next to it if full. Trash bags will be available at the gate or in the sign up building.  I’m sure you would rather have me on the dozer making improvements, and not in the pits picking up your trash!

MEDICAL INSURANCE: We do not have Rider Medical Insurance and we urge you NOT TO RACE WITHOUT IT. Riders are responsible for their own medical insurance. Rider medical insurance is available through the AMA’s RAMP Program at (800) 556-7614 or visit www.insurance4ama.com.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: No fireworks, firearms, weapons, illegal substances, glass containers or any other items that may pose a safety hazard to our guests or competitors are permitted.  Please leave bad attitudes at home, this is supposed to be fun, if your not interested in having fun, then go to another track, we are not a monopoly.

SEARCH POLICY: All persons, vehicles and their contents are subject to search at any time. If any fireworks, or prohibited items are found, you may remove them from the property yourself, or we will dispose of them for you. We are not responsible for the safe return of any confiscated items.

GUEST CONDUCT: Motocross racing is a family sport. We will not tolerate offensive or inappropriate conduct and we reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises. Riders are responsible for the conduct of their crew members, family and friends.

CURFEW: Anyone under the age of 18 must be at their campsite (or off the premises if not camping) by 10:00pm. Generators must be turned off by 10:00pm.

THEFT and VANDALISM: Anyone caught abusing/misusing, or stealing personal property, of any type (Briarcliff Mx property or visitors property) will be prosecuted. Theft of banners or anything from the track will be dealt with by the long arm of the law.  On the other side, Briarcliff Mx is not responsible for personal property that you bring to the track, these items are your responsibility, we have races to run..

PARKING: We will park you AS YOU ARRIVE in the next most-available space to fit your vehicle. You may not save spots for persons arriving later. IF YOU WANT TO CAMP TOGETHER, please ARRIVE TOGETHER. Due to space constraints, please try not to take up more space than you TRULY need. No parking, camping or pits are allowed inside of the race track fencing..

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: All racing rigs/motor homes/camping vehicles must have fully functioning fire extinguishers readily available in the event of an emergency.

CAMPFIRES: Campfires are no longer permitted, due to irresponsible campers.

QUIET TIME: Quiet time is 10:00 pm nightly. All loud noise, including generators, must be turned off at 10pm. Our racers need their rest!
