Loretta Lynn’s Area Qualifier











The best motocross racers in the Mid East Region will travel to Briarcliff Motocross park for the toughest competition to prepare themselves for the road to Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch; the host of the 2017 Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Amateur National Championship.  On April 28-29-30, the Area Qualifier freight trains rolls into Briarcliff Mx.  Please check back for updates on this page.

Track Nearest Address: 4265 Briarcliff Road, Nashport, Ohio 43830, go to the intersection of Grove Road/Briarcliff Road, the track entrance on the north side of the intersection. See the area map below.

PLEASE do not use Grove Road, its a small township road with a small bridge on it. For the best route, please use Licking Valley Road to Briarcliff Road from Hanover.

Track Radio Station: Tune into 88.5 FM for all track announcements made over the PA.

Spectator Information:

This event will be a 2-day format. There will be racing on both Saturday and Sunday including amateur, youth and Vet classes. Racing to begin at 9:30 am each day.


This event is part of the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Amateur National Championship! Check out the Mx Sports website for complete information.

Some bleacher seating is available. However it is recommended that you can also bring lawn chairs or blankets, or just sit in the grass. There are food concessions at the track, be sure to get to Mom’s legendary noodles before 1pm or they may be gone! No glass containers, please. You can even bring friendly pets, but keep them on a leash, please.

Bicycles are welcome; no motorized vehicles for spectating (minibikes, golf cards, quads, etc.).

Camping fee is included in the gate fee. Spectators may not use pit vehicles.

Racer Information:

Gates open at 4pm Thursday. No early entry available. All racers will need to buy wristbands upon entering the facility, see the gate fee schedule above.

Pit vehicles may be used by adults (age 18 & up). Each driver must register at the signup building. Charge is $10. We don’t charge for extra drivers of the same vehicle; please bring all drivers to signup to register together.

Pit vehicles are for transportation to and from the track. Please park them outside the tunnels and walk to the infield; no pit vehicles on the track infield. They are to be used responsibly, anyone caught being irresponsible will be asked to leave, immediately.


Friday Practice: 8am sign up (practice only), Practice groups 10-5:00pm, $25 per bike (sticker), practice wristbands must be worn at all times on Friday. All riders must sign up before practicing.  No rider will practice Friday without their practice wristband. No rider will practice Friday in a group that doesn’t match their wristband color. All motorcycles must have the matching sticker placed on the master cylinder, bikes without this sticker will not practice.  Any violation of these rules will result in a long ride home.

Practice Groups (Tent.): A/B, C, 50’s (split), 65, 85, Supermini, Vet (30+)/Women, Schoolboy/125

Racing Signup times: Friday 10:00am-1:00pm & 3:00pm-7:00pm (Saturday/Sunday Racing), Saturday 6am-8:30am (Saturday Racing Only), Sunday 6am-8:30am. All racers must be present at sign up with wristbands on their wrist.  All minors must have a parent or legal guardian with them at sign up.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Race Day Practice Times: Saturday 8am, Sunday 8am. (Cost included with the class race fee)

Race Day Fees: $40 per class, plus a $10 Qualifier sheet fee (Mx Sports) per class.

State Route 16 East/West to Licking Valley Road/Hanover (aka CR668), North at the traffic light onto Licking Valley Road off of SR16 (Not Brownsville Road), next turn right at the second road on your right; Staying on Licking Valley Road. Cross the railroad tracks, if you end up in Marne, you missed the turn. Follow Licking Valley Road (aka CR 668/Main Street) through Hanover (two lights), about 2 miles outside of Hanover make a right onto Briarcliff Rd, Briarcliff Rd. to Grove Rd., enter track drive way on the north side of the intersection of Grove and Briarcliff (left hand side at the top of the hill).
